Gulls Follow Farmer in Plowed Field Evening

Honeyed evening light spills across dark, churned soil near Surat, casting long, thin shadows from a farmer walking a tractor track. A tight white line of gulls trails directly behind him, their feathers bright against the wet, heavy earth of the rainy season. The view looks straight down from above, revealing the texture of the furrowed ground and the precise spacing between the birds. Low sun skims the tops of remaining grain stalks, creating a shimmering edge along the horizon. The clear sky offers no clouds, only the sharp contrast of the white birds against the deep brown mud. Each bird maintains its position in the line, wings tucked as they move across the field.
