Golden Hour Beeswax Candles on Tucson Mantel

Warm amber light floods a wooden mantelpiece, illuminating a row of unlit beeswax candles with their natural, slightly uneven cylindrical forms. The rough grain of the wood contrasts with the smooth, honey-colored wax. Behind the candles, a large window reveals streaks of rain running down the glass, blurring the view of the Tucson desert landscape outside. Condensation dots the interior surface of the pane, catching the fading sunlight. The low angle of the sun casts long, soft shadows across the mantel, highlighting the texture of the wax drips and the weathered surface of the wood. A faint glow reflects off the wet glass, separating the warm interior from the cool, gray evening beyond.
