Warm candlelight glows against the grain of a weathered wooden table, casting soft amber reflections on a frosted glass of ayran and a skewer of grilled meat. The condensation on the glass beads heavily, evidence of the humid monsoon air pressing against the window behind. Outside, the fading sunset bleeds orange and purple through the rain-streaked pane, creating a cool, diffused backlight that contrasts with the intimate warmth of the candle. The meat shows charred edges and glistening fat, resting on a simple ceramic plate. One droplet of water slides down the glass side, merging with the condensation pooling on the wood surface.
