Goat Kids Near Heat Lamps Autumn Canada

Soft overcast light floods the late morning paddock where three young goat kids huddle beneath the warm glow of suspended heat lamps. Dust or steam rises gently from the straw bedding, catching the diffuse illumination. Behind the animals, weathered wooden fencing forms a series of kidding pens marked with handwritten litter numbers. A metal water trough sits near a windbreak of dense shrubs on the left. The ground is a mix of churned earth and dry autumn grass, with the enclosure details visible in the background. Leading lines of the fence rails guide toward the cluster of kids resting near the basket of bottles. One reflection of the lamp glows on the metal rim of the trough.
