Glass Bottles on Conveyor at Gaziantep Rail Yard
Translucent glass bottles move in a tight, rhythmic row along a metal conveyor belt that cuts diagonally through the frame. The midday light falls through a thick haze of factory dust, creating soft, diffused shafts that illuminate the curved surfaces of the bottles and the rusted texture of the rail yard infrastructure. Heavy overcast skies press low above the industrial structures, casting a flat, even gray light that contrasts with the warm amber tones of the glass. The converging lines of the tracks and the conveyor guide toward a distant vanishing point where the machinery disappears into the dusty atmosphere. Fine particles of grit hang suspended in the air, settling on the metal rails and the shoulders of the bottles. at the edge is a small chip of broken glass resting on the edge of the conveyor track.
