Frosty Violet Iris in Cornish Terraced Garden Twilight

Pale violet petals of an iris stand rigid within deep shadow, their surfaces coated in a fine layer of white frost that adheres to the dry season vegetation. A sharp rim of fading twilight light outlines the edges of the flower, separating it from the darkening background. Behind the bloom, stone terraced walls recede into the distance, each layer blanketed in the same crystalline ice. The dormant grasses between the plots lie flat under the frost, creating a textured foreground of muted greens and greys. The light fades quickly, leaving the space in cool blues and purples, with the frost glistening faintly on the petal tips where the last glow of the sky touches the stone.
