Frosty Binturong on Branch in Portugal Morning

Early morning light catches the edge of a thick, dark branch where a binturong sits coiled. The animal's shaggy black fur creates a rough texture against the smooth, frost-coated wood. A sharp rim of pale light defines the silhouette of its curved, prehensile tail wrapping around the limb. White crystalline frost coats every surface, from the rough bark to the dense hair, creating a stark contrast in the deep shadow. The binturong's eyes reflect a faint glint, staring alertly into the dimness. The tight framing isolates the creature against a background of blurred, frozen foliage. The edge of the tail rests on a frost-covered twig, anchoring the composition.
