Broad daylight illuminates a dense wheat field where golden stalks stand thick beside a path of dark, tilled soil. A solitary scarecrow in worn fabric anchors the center, its form softened by heavy, low-hanging fog that blurs the horizon. Irrigation water shines in thin, reflective lines between the rows, catching the midday light. The low angle emphasizes the height of the dry-season wheat against the pale gray mist. Dark tractor tracks cut through the rich earth, leading toward the figure. at the edge is a droplet of dew clinging to the tip of a bent stalk near the bottom edge.
