Golden wheat swaths lie scattered across steep, stepped rice terraces under a vast, cloudless sky. A red tractor moves through the grain, its metal surfaces reflecting the low, honeyed sun. The terraced fields create geometric layers of green and brown earth that slope downward in rhythmic curves. Dust rises slightly from the tires as the machine cuts a path through the stalks. The horizon glows with warm light that wraps around the ridges of the fields. Long shadows stretch across the wet soil, highlighting the texture of the harvested rows against the remaining standing crops.
