Fog Swallows Pier Posts Near City Lights

Thick white fog rolls in from the left, swallowing the wooden pier one post at a time as it stretches toward the horizon. Stacked thunderheads loom in the distance above the dark water near Ciudad de la Costa. The city lights begin to glow along the far shore, casting a faint orange rim light that outlines the silhouetted posts. Sea spray hangs suspended in the air, catching the dim illumination. The dry season leaves the wooden pilings dark and weathered against the encroaching white mist. The last visible post stands sharp against the glowing horizon before vanishing into the gray. Fine droplets rest on the air between the pier and the water.
