Ferris Wheel Sunset Double Exposure Peshawar Atrium
by Mason Cline
Honey-colored light floods the vaulted atrium of a Peshawar building, illuminating dust motes suspended in the air. The ceiling curves high above, framing a double exposure where the skeletal spokes of a Ferris wheel merge with the deep orange of a setting sun. Geometric shadows from the wheel's structure stretch across polished stone floors, creating a mirrored composition against the curved walls. Peak autumn leaves in shades of rust and gold lie scattered near the base of the arches, their colors echoing the warm glow outside. the mix of the mechanical lines and organic sky tones produces a graphic formal tension, while soft reflections on the nearby surfaces blur the boundary between the physical architecture and the projected image. A sharp shadow of a wheel spoke cuts across a golden leaf on the floor.
