Grenada Tram Dawn Lighthouse Beam Wind
by Cameron Tate
A heavy tram moves diagonally across a remote ferry crossing in Grenada under the sweeping beam of a lighthouse. The pre-dawn darkness is broken only by this rhythmic slice of white light that cuts through the cool season air. Wind whips the tram's metal body, creating a visible blur of motion against the static Art Nouveau facades lining the street. The building details show weathered stucco and ornate ironwork, softened by the harsh, directional illumination. Rain-slicked pavement reflects the fleeting glow, while the tram's windows reveal dark silhouettes of passengers bracing against the gale. The diagonal line of the vehicle creates a sharp tension against the vertical architecture, showing the resilience of the transport system in these still, stormy hours. The light edge of the beam cuts a clean line across the wet cobblestones.
