Vibrant bands of red, yellow, and black curve across a small painted landscape resting on a dark wooden writing desk in Guacara. The last blue light of evening falls through rain-slicked windows, casting a cool glow that mixes with the warm neon reflections bouncing off the painted surface. Fine dust particles float in the shafts of light, catching the mixed illumination and creating a hazy texture over the scene. The shallow depth of field blurs the background, keeping the focus sharp on the layered colors of the hills. One streak of red paint runs along the edge of the desk, at the base of the object in the quiet room.
