Havana Blue Enamel Bucket

Chipped blue enamel paint peels from the curved rim of a rusted metal bucket sitting on a cracked concrete ledge in Havana. The bucket rests beside a weathered wooden door frame where the paint has flaked away to reveal gray wood grain underneath. Faint blue hour light reflects off the smooth, worn surface of the metal, highlighting the texture of the corrosion and the rough edge of the chip. One dried vine stem curls over the side of the bucket, its brittle brown leaves against the vibrant but fading blue paint.
