Dusty Barn Loft Beam Striped by Late Afternoon Light

Soft, diffused light falls through gaps in the wooden roof, carving distinct bands of illumination across a weathered barn loft beam. The wood grain runs deep and rough, coated in a fine layer of dry dust that glows where the sun strikes. To the left, stacks of hay bales rise in uneven rows, their golden hues muted by the clear, post-rain air. The beams show signs of age with darkened knots and splintered edges, contrasting against the pale, dusty sky visible through the eaves. Shadows stretch long and soft across the floorboards, showing the texture of the straw and the solid weight of the timber. A small patch of sunlight rests on a loose splinter near the beam's end, highlighting the rough surface against the darker wood.
