North window light floods the interior, illuminating a single feather resting on vibrant green moss. The vane splits into delicate barbs, each strand catching the midday glow. Tiny water droplets rest on the moss and feather, refracting light in sharp, microscopic detail. The texture of the moss appears soft and dense beneath the rigid structure of the feather. Shadows stretch gently across the damp surface, defining the depth between the plant and the bird's plumage. A final drop of water balances precariously on the tip of a single barb, glowing white against the dark green background.
