Dairy Calves Near Warming Box Before Sunrise in Sulawesi
Cold silver dawn light washes over a wide panoramic view of a rural pasture gate in Sulawesi. Three dairy calves huddle close to a wooden warming box, their damp coats reflecting the faint morning glow. A metal milk bucket sits on the wet ground beside the structure, its surface dull with condensation. A weathered ledger is clipped to the door frame, its pages fluttering slightly in the wind. The ground is churned and muddy, showing the turn of seasons with patches of sparse grass and scattered straw.
