Soft overcast light washes over a cluster of dinner-plate dahlia blooms in full expansion against the high-altitude backdrop of Tibet. The petals display deep crimson and violet gradients, their velvety surfaces catching the diffuse glow without harsh shadows. Dry, pale earth surrounds the sturdy green stems, showing the resilience of the flowers in the arid season. A perfectly clear blue sky frames the top edge of the view, against the saturated colors below. The minimalist arrangement isolates the blooms, drawing attention to the intricate layering of each petal. One dewdrop rests on the lower right edge of a crimson petal, mirroring the pale sky above.
