Crescent Moon Sets Behind Dhaka Pines

A pale crescent moon hangs low in the deep indigo sky, partially obscured by the dark silhouettes of a pine stand near Dhanmondi. A rhythmic sweep of artificial light cuts through the cold, dry night air, briefly illuminating the needle textures and rough bark of the trees. The beam moves horizontally across the frame, creating sharp contrasts between the illuminated foliage and the surrounding shadows. The moon rests in the upper right third of the view, its thin curve glowing against the vast, empty expanse. The light fades quickly, leaving the pines in near darkness, showing the stillness of the urban edge at night. The final glow of the beam reflects faintly on a distant, smooth surface of water below the treeline.
