Warm late afternoon light spills across a sun-bleached travertine wall in a quiet Roman courtyard, illuminating a cluster of weathered terracotta pots arranged on a cracked stone ledge. A pair of worn leather work gloves rests casually atop a coiled hose, their texture catching the golden hour glow. Nearby, a faded blue enamel basin holds a single, slightly chipped porcelain cup, stained with the faint amber residue of yesterday’s espresso. String lights, currently unlit and tangled, drape loosely between a wrought-iron gate and a leafy fig tree, casting long, intricate shadows that stretch across the dusty ground.
