Courier on Highland Dawn Train Car
Cold silver light from nautical dawn washes the switchback road winding through the Scottish Highlands. A bicycle courier leans sharply into a turn, legs pumping against the chill of early winter. Dry leaves skitter across the asphalt in sudden gusts, catching the dim glow. Impossibly, a passenger train car sits embedded directly into the rocky hillside beside the curve, its windows reflecting the pale sky while the wheels remain suspended in the air. The low angle emphasizes the steep incline and the vast, empty space of the moorland stretching behind the train. Rust flakes flake from the train's lower skirting, against the wet, dark tarmac of the road.
