Cog Railway Tunnel Ridge Autumn Mist Night

Cold moonlight bleeds across a wet, dark ridge where a steel cog railway emerges from a black tunnel mouth. Thick autumn mist swallows the background, leaving only the immediate tracks and the surrounding gravel visible. Tiny shoebox-sized structures line the track edges, their miniature windows glowing faintly against the gloom. The ground reflects the tracks and the small buildings in a sharp, watery mirror, doubling the scene. Fallen maple leaves in burnt orange and deep red rest on the metal rails and the gravel bed. The tunnel interior remains a void of absolute darkness, against the pale, silver light that defines the ridge. A puddle in the foreground catches the reflection of a single tiny house, its paper-thin walls casting a distinct, elongated shadow on the wet stone.
