Coffee and Toast on Porch Swing in Rain

Rain streaks run vertically down the glass pane beside a wooden tray holding a steaming cup of dark coffee and two slices of golden toast. The tray rests on the woven seat of a porch swing, positioned in the cool, directional light of a north-facing window. Late afternoon sun falls through the monsoon clouds, casting soft, elongated shadows that stretch along the white walls of the room. Water droplets blur the view of the street outside, while the wooden grain of the tray and the rough texture of the swing seat remain sharp in the foreground. A large area of empty wall space frames the arrangement, showing the stillness of the domestic corner. at the edge is a single water droplet sliding slowly down the glass, separating the warm interior from the gray exterior.
