One ceramic coffee mug sits on a wet wooden table near a window, catching the dim dusk light of a São Paulo apartment. Rain streaks the glass pane behind the mug, blurring the city skyline into soft gradients of gray and orange. The dark liquid inside reflects the faint glow of a nearby streetlamp, creating a sharp, distorted mirror on the surface. A few drops of condensation rest on the rim, slowly sliding down the glazed side of the cup.
