Choir Director By Harbor Glass in Mit Ghamr

Rain streaks the windowpane, blurring the harbor edge behind a choir director positioned at the frame's left boundary. Late summer light falls through a north-facing opening, casting soft, even illumination across the subject's face and the textured glass. Droplets of water rest on the pane, distorting the view of the water and distant boats into soft, elongated shapes. The director's expression remains still and focused, eyes fixed forward with quiet intensity. Fabric folds in the clothing catch the diffused light, against the cool, wet tones of the window. A sharp edge of the frame cuts off the subject's shoulder, at the base of the composition in the immediate interior space while the storm-clearing atmosphere lingers in the blurred background.
