Rain streaks the high windows, blurring the view of the street outside while softening the harsh midday glare. The singer wears a textured wool coat, its deep earth tones against the pale, peeling plaster walls. Droplets slide down the glass, distorting the geometric shadows cast by the metal stand. Dust motes hang suspended in the diffuse beams, catching the silver sheen of the mic grille. The performer's shoulder presses close to the edge of the frame, showing immediate, enclosed space. One raindrop rests on the bottom corner of the window pane, refracting the grey sky.
