Soft light after rain illuminates a tin-roofed workshop in the old quarter of Thủ Đức, where a ceramicist leans into a careful inspection. The wet season air hangs heavy, reflected in the glistening metal sheets overhead and the damp concrete floor. Dramatic clouds break across the sky, casting shifting shadows across the workspace. Tools rest within arm's reach on a wooden bench, their metal surfaces dull with moisture. The artisan's hands hover over a rough clay form, fingers adjusting a minute imperfection. Dust motes float in the beam of light piercing the open side of the structure. The edge of the frame cuts sharply across the scene, isolating the worker against the textured backdrop of corrugated iron and wet earth.
