Two upholstered armchairs face each other in a dimly lit bedroom near Teusaquillo, Bogota, during the late afternoon monsoon. A small chess board sits on a low table between them, pieces arranged mid-game. Soft overcast light falls through sheer curtains, casting cool blue tones across the room while warm candlelight flickers from a holder on the table, creating deep, shifting shadows against the walls. The floorboards show signs of wear, and rain streaks the glass panes, blurring the greenery outside. Negative space surrounds the seating area, showing the quiet intimacy of the moment. One candle flame casts a golden rim along the edge of a wooden chess piece.
