Candle Vigil Along Graz Barricades Twilight

Steel-blue ambient light washes the cobblestones of a public square in Graz, where rows of small candles flicker against the winter cold. Tall barricades line the protest routes, their dark metal surfaces reflecting the fading sky above. Dramatic clouds roll overhead, heavy and textured, casting shifting shadows across the gathering. Faces emerge softly from the gloom, illuminated by the warm, dancing glow of wax flames. The scene is anchored by leading lines formed by the barriers and the arrangement of people, drawing toward the distant archway. One candle flame trembles on the edge of a wet stone step, its orange reflection stretching across the damp pavement.
