Blue Glacier Cave Under Copper Twilight
by Amara Olsen
Vivid azure light glows from the deep recess of a glacier cave mouth, contrasting sharply with the warm copper tones of the sky before dusk. Snowflakes drift slowly through the air, catching the low firelight warmth that washes over the foreground rocks. From a low vantage point, the jagged ice formations rise steeply, their surfaces textured with deep blue striations and patches of dark sediment. Beyond the cave, layered foothills stretch toward the horizon, their slopes covered in dense evergreen forests that fade into the softening twilight. The falling snow creates a gentle haze around the cave entrance, softening the hard edges of the ice against the rugged terrain. One icicle hangs from the cave lip, refracting the fading blue light into tiny prismatic shards on the snow below.
