Berimbau Player Droning in Batumi Twilight

Warm candlelight pools across a weathered wooden workbench in Batumi, illuminating a berimbau held upright by a musician's hands. The instrument's gourd resonator catches the amber glow, while thin wires stretch taut against the dark wood. Indigo twilight bleeds through the background, against the soft, flickering shadows that settle into the corners of the room. Below the bench, blurred figures of capoeiristas move in a rhythmic spar, their forms suggested by the motion rather than sharp detail. The late spring air is still, visible only in the gentle undulation of the candle flame. One metal coin rests against the curved wood of the berimbau, reflecting the firelight.
