Artisan Hammering Copper Bowl Before Dusk

Molten side light floods the workshop floor, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air before dusk settles. An artisan stands over a wooden form, rhythmic strikes driving a hammer against a bright copper bowl. The metal gleams with warm, oxidized tones, contrasting against the rough, splintered wood beneath. Low fog pools around the subject's boots, clinging to the uneven ground of the Bertoua workshop. Weather-beaten hands grip the tool with practiced ease, muscles tensed in quiet labor. Shadows stretch long across the floorboards, showing the depth of the room. One chip of copper rests near the wooden form's edge, catching the fading light.
