Sunlight flattens the scene in a harsh, dry glare typical of the Ouidah highlands. A basketball player hangs in mid-air, executing a fadeaway jumper with knees bent and eyes locked forward. The court surface is rough, dusty earth marked with faint white chalk lines, surrounded by sparse, dry grasses turning brown at the season's edge. Low-hanging fog softens the distant horizon while the foreground remains sharp and sun-bleached. Dust kicks up slightly beneath the player's feet, suspended in the bright air. The player's shadow stretches long and distorted across the uneven ground, ending at a cluster of small, dry stones near the bottom edge of the frame.
