Yellow Flowered Barrel Cactus on Mizoram Cliff Edge

Bright open daylight floods a rugged cliff edge in Mizoram where a stout barrel cactus anchors the foreground. The cactus skin shows deep vertical ribs and pale green tones, crowned by a dense cluster of vibrant yellow flowers that stand out against the muted landscape. Dust hangs low and visible in the air, softening the background into a hazy wash of earthy browns and faded greens. The shallow depth of field blurs the distant horizon, keeping the focus sharp on the cactus spines and the delicate texture of the petals. Dry grasses and scattered stones litter the ground, showing the untamed, arid quality of this seasonal transition. at the edge reveals a single shadow cast by a flower petal onto the ribbed surface below.
