Bright late morning light floods a narrow Athens balcony, illuminating a cluster of terracotta pots where pale purple iris blossoms spill over the rim of a chipped ceramic cup used as a makeshift vase. A sun hat rests casually on a wrought-iron chair nearby, its brim casting a sharp geometric shadow across the white-washed stucco wall. Below, the chaotic tangle of rooftop antennas and satellite dishes against the hazy blue sky confirms the urban setting, while a dust brush leans against the railing, its bristles worn from cleaning the outdoor steps.
