Wet asphalt curves sharply through dry, dormant wadis and tan dune fields beneath a heavy winter sky. Rain streaks the lens surface, blurring the edges of the road into a dark ribbon against the pale, waterlogged sand. Sunset firelight reflects off the slick pavement, creating a jagged orange path that cuts diagonally across the frame. Sparse, leafless shrubs dot the dunes, their brown stalks standing rigid against the gray mist. The road surface glistens with puddles, mirroring the low-hanging clouds. A white car moves slowly along the curve, its headlights piercing the dimming light. The wet ground absorbs the sunset glow, turning the entire landscape into a muted, reflective surface.
