Aerial Solar Thermal Plant Near El Alto

Hard coastal glare reflects off rows of parabolic mirrors arranged across terraced hillsides near El Alto. A light drizzle from the monsoon season coats the metallic surfaces with scattered droplets that catch the harsh midday light. The landscape unfolds in layers of depth, with the silver arrays receding into the distance against the backdrop of rugged terrain. Wet earth contrasts with the sleek, geometric lines of the solar infrastructure. Shadows remain short and sharp beneath the dishes, showing the overhead sun. Raindrops rest on the reflective edges, distorting the view of the ground below while the entire installation stands motionless under the gray sky.
