Aerial patchwork of sunflower and lavender fields

Soft late-afternoon light washes over a geometric grid of agricultural plots near Kitwe, where rows of sunflowers and lavender stretch into the distance. Cool season air hangs low, filling the valleys below with a thick, white ground fog that obscures the terrain's base. The crops form distinct rectangular blocks of golden yellow and deep violet, separated by narrow dirt paths. Above the fog line, the greenhouse grids appear as faint, structured outlines against the sky. The colors remain saturated yet muted by the damp air, creating a calm, detached view of the cultivated landscape. Sharp edges of the fields contrast with the soft, billowing clouds of mist resting in the hollows between the hills.
