Deep emerald and ochre hues stretch across rolling hillsides just as the first light touches the landscape. Terraced rows of banana groves create rhythmic, dark green bands that follow the contours of the steep slopes. Interspersed among them, patches of cocoa trees form a textured mosaic of brownish-green foliage. Long, soft shadows from the low sun stretch across the terraces, defining the depth of the landform. Above, dramatic clouds drift in shades of slate and charcoal, casting shifting shadows over the agricultural patchwork. The composition divides the frame with cartographic precision, separating the earth below from the heavy sky above. A distinct line where the shadow meets the illuminated ridge marks the edge of the dawn.
