Abandoned Art Deco Cinema Facade in Karachi Prayer Hall

Chalky beige plaster ornaments detach from the curved Art Deco facade, suspended mid-fall against the muted grey of low-hanging clouds. Broad skylight falls through high windows, illuminating dust motes and the rough texture of crumbling stucco. Golden autumn leaves scatter across the stone floor, against the geometric lines of the arches. The structure stands inside a prayer hall in Karachi, where the warm afternoon light softens the decay. A jagged crack runs vertically down the left column, exposing the dark aggregate beneath the peeling white paint. The falling pieces cast sharp, elongated shadows on the tiled surface below.
