Pale yellow paint streaks across wet asphalt as a city worker bends over a public square in Omdurman. The low sun casts long, sharp shadows that stretch across the damp ground, reflecting the gray sky above. Light drizzle beads on the worker's dark jacket and the fresh paint lines, creating a glistening texture against the rough road surface. In the background, the square recedes into layers of depth where blurred figures move with purpose under the fading light. The air holds a visible moisture that softens the edges of distant buildings and street lamps. One droplet rolls down the edge of the freshly painted stripe, merging with the rain on the pavement.
