Wooden Peg Rail in Berlin

A small wooden peg rail hangs against the peeling white plaster of an interior wall in a Berlin apartment during the blue hour. The dim evening light from a nearby window casts long, cool shadows across the rough texture of the painted wood and the aged surface behind it. One metal hook at the end of the rail catches the faint ambient glow, creating a sharp point of brightness in the otherwise muted tones. Dust motes drift in the slanted light near the top edge of the frame, settling on the uneven paint layers.
