Warm late afternoon light slants through the tall arched window of a historic Budapest apartment, illuminating a worn wooden kitchen stool positioned against a peeling lime-washed wall. The stool’s curved backrest catches the golden hour glow, highlighting the grain of the aged wood and the subtle cracks in the varnish near the seat.
