The floor, polished to a low sheen, holds muted reflections of the chest legs and the surrounding furniture. Cool season air is suggested by the heavy, textured throw resting across the chest lid. Negative space frames the arrangement, showing the quiet stillness of the room. A faint shadow stretches along the baseboard, anchoring the chest to the floor.
