Neon Glow on Blanket Chest Pretoria Kitchen Night

Cool electric blue light washes the exposed timber beams of a Pretoria kitchen, casting deep indigo shadows along the plaster walls. A heavy wooden blanket chest rests at the foot of a bed, its carved paneling and brass hardware reflecting the neon source. Late autumn appears in a small potted plant on a nearby shelf, where brown, dry leaves cluster against the dark wood grain. Polished floorboards catch the reflected glow, creating elongated streaks that run across the room. Geometric shadows from the timber framing fall against the walls beside the chest. The blue light traces the sharp edge of the lid, highlighting the texture of the dark wood grain.
