Window Box in Marseille
A rectangular window box made of weathered timber sits bolted to the rough limestone facade of a building in Marseille. The box is filled with dark, damp soil and sparse greenery that has survived the winter chill. Small droplets of water rest on the edges of the leaves, reflecting the diffuse daylight from the overcast sky.
