Volleyball Libero Dives on Winter Harbor Quay
Grey twilight clouds press low over the Łódź harbor quay, casting a flat, cool illumination across the hard-court surface. A volleyball libero in a dark jersey and knee pads stretches horizontally, their body skimming inches above the frost-dusted concrete. The player's fingers extend toward a white ball hovering just out of reach. Behind them, the dark, still water of the harbor reflects the pale sky and the faint glow of distant industrial lights. Heavy winter coats hang on a nearby bench, untouched by the cold air. Ice crystals rest on the metal railing, while the player's shadow stretches long and sharp across the rough pavement, ending abruptly at the edge of the court where the concrete meets the stone embankment.
