Violet Thimble on Forest Floor

Soft, diffused dawn light falls through heavy overcast skies, settling on a fern-lined patch of earth near Bouake. A small porcelain thimble rests on the weathered lid of a wooden sewing box, positioned slightly off-center. The thimble features a delicate hand-painted violet flower, its purple petals standing out against the white ceramic. Surrounding the box, lush green ferns unfurl from the damp soil, their fronds glistening with rain. The ground is covered in a layer of decaying leaves and scattered twigs, typical of the rainy season. The light is flat and even, casting no harsh shadows, only a gentle glow that highlights the texture of the wood and the smooth curve of the porcelain. one drop of water rests on the edge of the fern frond nearest the box.
