Upward Rain Over Wrought Iron Bed

Pale afternoon light floods the room, bouncing off stark white walls to illuminate a dark wrought-iron bed frame. At the foot of the bed, a red rubber hot water bottle rests against the metal bars, its surface smooth and slightly reflective. Outside the large window, rain does not fall down but ascends in crisp, silver streaks, defying gravity while remaining sharply defined against the glass. The water droplets catch the broad skylight, appearing as suspended liquid threads. Muted reflections of the ascending rain shimmer on the cool floor tiles. The background remains sharp, detailing the window frame and the upward momentum of the water, while the immediate foreground of the bed posts softens slightly, at the base of the impossible weather in a domestic setting.
