Grey Rain Clouds Over Sunlit Huehuetenango Living Room

Thick nimbostratus sheets of slate grey dominate the upper view, pressing down from the window frame. Bright midmorning sunlight pierces through sheer curtains, casting soft, diffused beams across the wooden floorboards. Condensation beads cluster along the interior surface of the glass, blurring the edge where the heavy outdoor storm meets the dry indoor air. A simple woven textile rests on a low table, its earthy red and brown threads against the cool grey tones outside. The room remains still, filled with the quiet presence of the rainy season. One water droplet slides slowly down the lower corner of the windowpane, leaving a clear, curved trail.
